Four Richland girls attended Girls' State which met on the campus of the Central
Washington College at Ellensburg, June 22 to June 30, 1958 were the big days.
Girls' State, sponsors were Women Democratic Club, Independent Order of Foresters,
Allstate Rebeka Lodge, Columbia High Girls' Pep Club and Girls' League
The
purpose of Girls' State is to set up an imaginary State with city, county and state
officials.
